Jessie J. to perform at Singapore International Jazz Festival

Jazz music lovers, take note. Following its debut earlier this year at Marina Bay Sands (MBS), the Singapore International Jazz Festival (Sing Jazz) will be in town from Mar 5 to 8, 2015.

More than 250 artists including international Grammy Award winner Jessie J., will come together to perform over four nights on multiple stages at MBS.

The event will also have performers such as Singapore's own Jeremy Monteiro who will be performing with Italian jazz organist Alberto Marsico. Others include pianist and composer Ramsey Lewiand and 10-time Grammy winner Bobby McFerrin.

"From mainstream jazz to smooth soul, R&B and acid jazz, contemporary pop even, Sing Jazz is in reality a celebration of all 'jazz-inspired music', offering something for everyone, whether you're a jazz aficionado or simply a lover of 'live' music performed at the very highest levels", said David Lyndon Smith, Sing Jazz co-founder and artistic director, and himself a professional orchestral musician.

At the event, the Singha Stage will be available as a platform for Singaporean musicians to showcase their talent, in some cases through collaborations with regional and international performers.

To kick off Sing Jazz 2015, Festival organiser Orbis Festival Productions is releasing 500 specially-priced three-day passes at $255 each, which will entitle event attendees access to the main festival arena throughout the Sing Jazz weekend.

Single-day tickets are for sale at $125 per day after the promotional period.
